About: Dr. Richard Waithe is a pharmacist and President of VUCA Health. While still in pharmacy school, he played a key role on the content team as a junior editor in helping VUCA Health create the largest library of medication education videos. Fast forward to the present day, he is committed to continuing VUCA Health’s mission of improving health literacy through increased access to reliable and understandable medication information. In 2017, he created Rx Radio, a digital media platform focused on engaging and inspiring pharmacists to better the profession of pharmacy. Through podcasting and producing media content for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Medium, Rx Radio quickly became an emerging leader in the digital media landscape of healthcare. With multiple leadership roles in community pharmacies that include Target, CVS, and Publix Pharmacy, and an innate ability to understand consumer behavior, Richard remains passionate about patient engagement and advancements in technology that improve health outcomes.
