Mentioned on Ep 031: Do you love your home? Joy at work starts with joy at home.
Welcome back to The Burnout Doctor Podcast, episode 31 talking about how joy at work starts with joy at home.
One of my clients is struggling finding a sanctuary at home. I posed 3 questions to ask to help with curating joy at home.
Question 1: when I’m sitting in my space/home, I feel…
Question 2: close your eyes, now imagine your space/home, how does your space look and feel when you’re using it to CURATE a life you LOVE?
Question 3: what does and does not belong in this space?
If we do not love our homes, it can cause mental clutter and mental overload that affects other areas of our lives. When we let this mental clutter affect us, we feel distracted. Feeling distracted can lead to poor productivity and a lack of joy at work too! We talk more about the psychology and research about this in Episode 58 and Episode 48.
If you’re struggling with this, I’m offering a cost-effective way to work together for accountability. My coaching program now offers 30-minute weekly sessions to check-in for accountability, reflect on progress, answer and guide you through difficulties. Apply now at DrJessicaLouie.com/coaching.
